ABOUT THE CLUB

Welcome to the Eden Blue Caledonia diving club in Koumac!

We will be delighted to welcome you to the club. Passionate about diving and fallen in love with Koumac and its seabed, we look forward to sharing dives and a lot of other activities with you!

We like to share our passion, so we offer training for adults but also for children.

Trained in biology and underwater photography, initiated to apnea, our activities are diverse and varied. We listen to our members and offer a quality of service that is rare in the area.

The North lagoon & its islets

The lagoon of New Caledonia is the second largest lagoon in the world. In Koumac, it has several islands where it is very pleasant to share a snack during the surface interval between two dives. You can also observe terns and other species of seabirds. The coral reef is only a few minutes' sail away.

The locals, the residents

The room offers a reading corner to sit down and look for underwater species thanks to the many books available free of charge. You can also buy t-shirts, goodies and other diving accessories and benefit from the advice of Charlène and David!

Underwater Fauna and Flora

In Koumac, the fauna and flora are very rich. For example, in 2018, Philippe Bouchet, professor at the Museum of Natural History in Paris and his team of researchers identified more than 700 different species of Nudibranchs in just one week! The low human activities also favor the observation of beautiful specimens such as leopard ray, hammerhead shark and manta ray!

The marina

The Koumac marina can accommodate between 40 and 50 boats in port afloat and around fifteen boats ashore. It is possible to refuel there. The infrastructures are recent with two beautiful launches. The place is fenced and under video surveillance. It offers as services a laundry, a fishmonger's and rental of electric bikes to get to the center of the village.
